Cynthia Trevino, Founder
I love working with big doers who want to change the world. I help founders, business owners, entrepreneurs and authors to grow their businesses by finding new customers. Together, we carve out the value in their products, services and books, turn it into educational content. Then we get it in front of (the right) prospective customers.
I’ve consulted with attorneys, CEOs, authors, business professionals and startup entrepreneurs since co-founding Resonnect in 2001. We’ve increased awareness, driven website visitors and generated prospects and customers using content marketing and social media.
I’ve blogged since 2008. And helped business owners use social media to attract prospects and customers since before every retailer, politician and TV show began saying “Like us on Facebook”. There’s no way around it: creating amazing content and distributing it using giant media platforms Google, Amazon and iTunes is essential for successful marketing, list building and business growth.
Marketing Roadmap Certified Consultant
You may have noticed. Seismic shifts are going on in our connected world. Like nonstop mobile device usage, content saturation and everyone’s on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest… That means that, you, the entrepreneur or business owner has to, well, change. If you haven’t already.
If you don’t have a strategy and a plan to get your content developed and on the online platforms where your prospective customers spend time, it’s going to be tough(er) to build an email list and grow your business.
I use the 4-step Marketing Roadmap process to help you reach prospective customers. It’s a sane approach that eliminates the stress and overwhelm of today’s social media, hamster wheel of business and marketing.
Step 1: Clarifying your ideal customers and a rock-solid list of his or her hair-on-fire problems. Step 2: Preparing a hair-on-fire-problems focused content plan. Step 3: Creating or positioning your products and services, around, yes, your customers’ hair-on-fire-problems. Step 4: Organizing your customer findings, content and products/services into a sanity-saving marketing plan, content calendar and schedule.

Time in Corporate America
I honed my business and marketing skills at AT&T and Copper Mountain Networks. The details follow.

Cynthia’s experience includes 20 years corporate line and staff positions, AT&T; 3 years start-up broadband service providers and manufacturers; and marketing consulting to start-up, small and mid-sized firms since 2001. I now live in Southern California with Jim Butz and don’t miss New Jersey winters one bit. I enjoy Spanish wine, connecting people and enlisting friends in the search for the perfect pasta dish. Not an easy task in Southern California…
